September 13th Meeting
Mark on your calendars, September 13th at 1:30 for an informational meeting at the county office building. Kirk Wentworth will be there to answer questions you might have about the proposed aquatic center. The poll on the right hand is supposed to let you say where you would want the pool to be built, unfortunately, the poll isn't working well. Feel free to leave your comments here about where you think the pool should be built.

New pool would benefit those with special needs - UBStandard.com - Uintah Basin Standard Online
This is a great article in this weeks Uintah Basin Standard about a family in Duchesne who have a young boy with cerebral palsy. Danny Ross has benefited from swimming in the pool because it is able to relax his muscles. The proposed Aquatic Center for the county will have a therapy pool that would be open year round for people like Danny to help strengthen and relax their muscles.
